    Il Porcospino Lilla (Marche Rosso IGT 2018) is a blend of Montepulciano and Sagrantino from vineyards located in Mogliano (MC), facing south, at an altitude of 200 meters on sandy-limestone soils. Spurred cordon farming. In the first ten days of July, a thinning is done and the production of grapes per hectare is 70q for Montepulciano and 35q for Sagrantino. After the harvest, in the second ten days of October, done rigorously by hand as per tradition, only the best grapes are selected. We then proceed to the separate vinification by grape variety: destemming, soft pressing, and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is blended and aged in French barriques for 12 months and further refined in the bottle before being sold.

    The taste

    Il Porcospino Lilla has an intense ruby red color with purple reflections; the nose perceives fruit prevailing, with aromas of ripe berries and light notes of vanilla, tobacco, and dark spices. In the mouth, it has a good body, balance, freshness, fine tannins, and fruity length. It goes well with aged cheeses as well as succulent red or game meat mains.

    La Lucciola Arancione (Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Doc Classico) is a pure Verdicchio from vineyards located in Staffolo (AN), facing south-west, at an altitude of 350 meters, on tuffaceous, sandy, and calcium-rich soils. Guyot farming. The production of grapes per hectare is 90 q. After the harvest, in the first ten days of September, done rigorously by hand as per tradition, only the best grapes are selected. We then proceed to the vinification: destemming, soft pressing, and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Aging in steel for 4 months which improves further in the bottle before being sold.

    The taste

    La Lucciola Arancione has a lively straw yellow color with greenish hues; the nose perceives citrus, miller fruit, and flowers. In the mouth, it has a dry, fresh and refreshing sip of citrus fruits with elegant mineral notes on the finish. It goes well with appetizers, delicate first courses, and all fish-based dishes.

In the mouth, its structure and creamy tannic texture emerge. The finish recalls the roasting of the coffee. It goes well with aged cheeses as well as succulent red or game meat mains.
